Air Arabia Abu Dhabi recently announced it will launch a non-stop route to Almaty, Kazakhstan this summer.
From June 3, the Abu Dhabi-based budget airline will launch the new thrice-weekly service (Sunday, Tuesday, Friday) between Abu Dhabi and Almaty. The airline will use Airbus A320 aircraft on the new route.
Between Abu Dhabi and Almaty, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi currently is the lone airline – and budget carrier – operating flights between the two cities.
“This new route reflects our commitment to offering passengers affordable and reliable travel options while enhancing connectivity from the UAE’s capital with key international markets,” said Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia.
With the addition of Almaty, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi will operate flights to 30 destinations from its hub at Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport.
