AirAsia Cambodia is expanding its international network with the addition of new routes to Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
Following the recent launch of new services from Siem Reap to Singapore, AirAsia Cambodia – the latest addition to the AirAsia Group carriers – will start direct flights between Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City on December 22, and Phnom Penh and Hanoi on January 24, 2025. AirAsia Cambodia will operate four weekly flights on the Phnom Penh-Ho Chi Minh City route (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), and thrice-weekly for the Phnon Penh-Hanoi route (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
According to AirAsia Cambodia, the new routes – operating a combined seven weekly return flights – will deliver an additional 1260 visitor seats to/from Phnom Penh.
"Cambodia and Vietnam are quintessential Asean destinations, offering travelers the chance to enjoy rich cultural experiences at exceptional value," said Vissoth Nam, CEO, AirAsia Cambodia. "We are certain the two new international routes between Cambodia and Vietnam will prove popular for both local citizens and global tourists connecting via the AirAsia Group’s vast network spanning over 130 countries. We will continue to look for opportunities to expand further in the future as demand increases."
Launched in May 2024, AirAsia Cambodia will expand its international network to four destinations. The airline currently operates flights to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
