AirAsia Philippines has announced it will launch a new route to Japan with a new direct service between Manila and Nagoya.
The Philippine-based AirAsia carrier announced that from October 29, it will operate three weekly (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) flights from the Philippine capital of Manila to Nagoya.
Nagoya – the capital of Japan's central Aichi prefecture – will be AirAsia Philippines' third destination in Japan where it currently offers flights to Tokyo-Narita and Osaka-Kansai from Manila.
“Japan is one of the strongest regional markets for AirAsia Philippines. In fact, we’ve already flown 210,000 guests for the first half of 2024. We are confident we will double the 270,000 guests flown in 2023 with our competitive airfares, more services, better flight timings and world leading service,” Isla said.
Between Manila and Nagoya, AirAsia Philippines will be the fourth carrier offering flights on the route which includes Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and Jetstar Japan.
