AirAsia expands in India with a new route to the Andaman Islands

AirAsia is continuing to expand its network in India with the addition of a new route to the Andaman Islands.

From November 16, AirAsia will launch its new route from Kuala Lumpur to Port Blair – the capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal – with three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday).  

Port Blair will be AirAsia's 17^th destination in India, and the 8^thnew route introduced to the country within 2024.

The new route will be the airline's first, and the only flights from Kuala Lumpur to the islands.
