AirAsia to add Ningbo,China to network with new flights from Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu

AirAsia is further expanding its presence in China with the addition of the city of Ningbo to its network.

The Malaysia-based budget carrier announced it will launch two routes to Ningbo in August offering a total of six weekly flights to the city in China's Zhejiang province

The first route – a three-times weekly service from Kuala Lumpur – will start on August 1. A separate three-times weekly service from Kota Kinabalu will start the following day – August 2.

Ningbo will be the AirAsia Group's 17^th destination in China, which according to the carrier will make it the largest foreign airline operating in the country.
