AirAsia is boosting its services between Sabah and Indonesia with a new route from Kota Kinabalu to Manado.
From September 1, the Sepang, Malaysia-based AirAsia will operate three weekly flights (Sunday, Monday, Friday) on its second route between Sabah and Indonesia. The new service will be an addition to the current route between Kota Kinabalu and Indonesia's capital Jakarta.
Located on the eastern Indonesian island of Sulawesi, Manado is the capital of the province of North Sulawesi. The city is the second largest on the island.
With the addition of Manado, AirAsia will offer 13 international routes to/from Kota Kinabalu with 83 weekly flights.
