All foreign visitors to Singapore – regardless of nationality – can now use the automated immigration lanes at Changi Airport.

Rolled out in May, Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said foreign visitors will be able to use the automated lanes without prior enrollment upon arrival and depart without presenting their passports for immigration clearance. Travelers are still required to submit the SG Arrival Card before arrival.

The service will be expanded to allow departing travelers and returning Singapore residents to depart without showing their passports at automated lanes at Changi Airport, Seletar Airport, and the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore

Previously, Singapore residents and foreign visitors from 60 countries could use the automated lanes to enter the country.

In 2023, the ICA reported more than 160 automated lanes were installed with another 230 to be set up in 2024. The ICA intends to install around 800 lanes across all of Singapore's checkpoints by 2026.
