Boeing has announced aircraft leasing company Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has finalized an order for 35 747 MAX jets.

ACG's new order for 35 MAX jets will include 16 737-8 and 19 of the larger 737-10 variant.

The new order follows an incremental order placed by ACG last year for 13 MAX jets. Combined, ACG's total ordered MAX jets stands at 82.

"ACG's growing and diverse 737 MAX portfolio allows its customers to operate a more sustainable, efficient fleet," said Christy Reese, Boeing vice president of Global Leasing Commercial Sales & Marketing, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "We look forward to helping ACG deliver the most fuel-efficient airplanes in the industry to its airline partners."

“This firm order for additional 737 MAX aircraft enhances the strategic value of ACG’s order book, supports a key pillar of our growth strategy and reinforces our commitment to invest in modern and fuel-efficient aircraft technology,” said Thomas Baker, Chief Executive Officer and President at ACG. “We look forward to supporting our airline customers throughout the world with these highly versatile and fuel-efficient aircraft.”
