After successful trials on select flights, the Hong Kong-based carrier announced it is extending complimentary Wi-Fi access to Business Class customers on all its Wi-Fi equipped aircraft. The airline will be further extending it to Cathay Diamond members across all cabin class later in November.
The airline first introduced complimentary Wi-Fi access for First Class passengers in 2022.
“At Cathay Pacific, we are committed to investing in and further elevating the experience we provide for our customers,” said Lavinia Lau, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, Cathay Pacific. “With complimentary Wi-Fi now available to customers traveling in First and Business class, and coming soon to our Cathay Diamond members, they can stay connected in the air whether traveling for business or leisure.’’
According to Cathay Pacific, over 90% of its fleet is Wi-Fi equipped. The connectivity will be extended across its entire fleet by mid-2025.
