Cebu Pacific will be expanding its international network from Cebu with a new route to Vietnam.
From April 7, the Manila, Philippines-based budget airline will launch a new service between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City with three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
Cebu Pacific's announcement of its new Cebu-Ho Chi Minh City service follows Philippine Airlines announcement last week for its own launch of flights on the same route on May 2.
The new route will add to Cebu Pacific's international network from Cebu. From the central Philippine city, the airline operates flights to Bangkok-Don Mueang, Hong Kong, Osaka-Kansai, Seoul-Incheon, Singapore, and Tokyo-Narita.
“As Vietnam continues to grow in popularity among Filipino travelers, launching a new gateway to the country via Ho Chi Minh City is an exciting step for Cebu Pacific. We look forward to offering travelers from Cebu the chance to explore a new destination more seamlessly, and to welcoming more international visitors to discover the Philippines,” said Xander Lao, President and Chief Commercial Officer, Cebu Pacific.
Between the Philippines and Vietnam, Cebu Pacific currently operates flights from Manila to three cities in Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang.
