Cebu Pacific is expanding its network from Iloilo with a new route from the central Philippine city to Bangkok.
The Manila-based budget airline announced it will launch the new route – between Iloilo and Bangkok Don Mueang Airport – from March 31, 2025. Cebu Pacific will operate three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) on the new route – the first to Thailand from Iloilo.
“We are thrilled to offer more travelers the opportunity to explore the majestic city of Bangkok. Strengthening our Iloilo hub allows us to connect even more passengers from the Western Visayas region to exciting destinations across our international network,” said Xander Lao, President and Chief Commercial Officer, Cebu Pacific.
Bangkok will be Cebu Pacific's third international route and the 15th overall from Iloilo. The airline currently operates flights to Hong Kong and Sinagpore, along with domestic flights to Manila, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Clark, Davao, Dumaguete, General Santos, Legazpi, Puerto Princesa, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, and Zamboanga.
Cebu Pacific offers flights on a total of eight routes between the Philippines and Thailand. The airline operates two routes to Suvarnabhumi Airport – from Clark and Manila - and to Don Mueang from Cebu, Davao, and Manila. In addition, the airline operates flights between Manila and Chiang Mai.
