Emirates has announced it will bring its newly refurbished Boeing 777s to six US cities this winter season.

The Dubai-based carrier announced the 777s – with Emirates' latest Business Class seats and its Premium Economy product – will be used on the airline's direct flights to four US destinations - Chicago, Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Seattle. In addition, the aircraft will also be used on its flights to Miami/Bogota and to Newark via Athens.

According to Emirates, the deployment of the refurbished Boeing 777 on the routes will start in November through early 2025 with the following schedule:

  • Chicago – x3 weekly on EK235/EK236 from November 1. Daily from November 22

  • Boston – x3 weekly on EK237/EK238 from December 10. Daily from December 18

  • Dallas-Fort Worth – x3 weekly on EK221/EK222 from January 9. Daily from January 15, 2025

  • Seattle – EK229/EK230 from January 24, 2025

  • Newark/Athens – EK209/EK210 from February 10, 2025

  • Miami/Bogota – x4 weekly on EK213/EK214 from February 19, 2025. Daily from March 1, 2025

With the deployment of the retrofitted 777s, Emirates will offer its Premium Economy prowduct to 12 US destinations and two cities in Latin America – Bogota and Sao Paulo – through a mix of both 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft by February 2025.

“With the success and popularity of Premium Economy on routes like New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Houston served by our refurbished A380, we look forward to bringing a new level of comfort and privacy to more cities with refreshed cabins on our Boeing 777s,” said Adnan Kazim, Deputy President, and Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates. “The introduction of our refreshed product and ensuring consistent experiences in the sky on more routes is part of our long-standing commitment to the US and adding more premium options in a span of just a few months ensures we offer a competitive, value for money proposition for our customers.”

Emirates will operate the refurbished 777s to 27 cities (including Dubai) by the end of 2024. The aircraft features a four-class configuration with 6-8 First Class suites, 38-40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 arrangement, 24 Premium Economy, and 256 Economy seats.
