Ahead of the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holiday period, Emirates will expand its flight schedules across the region.


In a statement, the Dubai-based carrier will operate 19 additional flights during the holiday period from Dubai to Jeddah, Kuwait, Beirut, and Amman. The airline expects to serve more than 150,000 customers from across the region during the period.


Between April 7 and 13, Emirates will add seven flights to Jeddah. The added flights will provide more flexibility for customers bound for popular destinations like Dubai, London, the Maldives, or visit family and friends in Colombo and Karachi.


To Kuwait, Emirates will add six extra flights between April 7 and 20. The airline aims to cater to the significant travel demand during the holiday period to destinations such as Dubai, Bangkok, Osaka, Chennai, Hyderabad, Sialkot, and Peshawar.


Emirates' flight schedule to Bahrain will also expand to 22 weekly flights from May 2.


Following the holy month, Emirates will add four flights to Amman and two to Beirut to accommodate for more travelers.
