Etihad Airways has announced its Airbus A380 superjumbo will make its return to Paris before the end of the year.


The Abu Dhabi-based carrier announced the double-decker aircraft – featuring its three-room suite called “The Residence” - will used on its flights between Abu Dhabi and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.  from November 1.


According to aeroroutes, the A380 will replace the A350 aircraft currently used on the daily service operating as EY31/EY32.


“The introduction of the A380 on the Abu Dhabi – Paris route enriches both leisure and corporate travel. It underscores Etihad's commitment to facilitating business connections and travel to Abu Dhabi and beyond,” said Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer, Etihad.


Paris will be the third destination Etihad will deploy its A380 aircraft. The airline currently uses the superjumbos on flights to New York-JFK and London.
