Before the launch of its new service Atlanta, Etihad has announced it will increase its flights on the route before the year's end.
In a statement from Etihad, the planned increase to daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Atlanta will start on November 1 – four months after the launch of the route on July 2. Etihad will initially operate four weekly flights when the Abu Dhabi-Atlanta route starts.
“Since announcing our flights to Atlanta in November, we’ve seen great interest from guests, and that’s why we have decided to step up to daily flights on this already very popular route,” said Jurriaan Stelder, Senior Vice President Network and Alliances, Etihad. “Connecting Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the world’s busiest by passenger volume, with our growing global network means seamless one-stop connections to some of Atlanta’s most popular South Asian destinations including Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai and Karachi.”
Atlanta is one of 13 new destinations Etihad will add to its network this year.
