Etihad Airways has announced it will expand its presence within the Middle East with the addition of Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia to its network, and increase flights to select destinations.

In a release, Etihad stated the new Abu Dhabi-Al Qassim route will start on June 24. With four weekly flights, the airline will use its Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.

With the addition of Al Qassim, Etihad increase the number of its destinations in Saudi Arabia to four. The airline currently operates flights to Dammam, Jeddah, and Riyadh.
Added Flights
From June 15, Etihad will increase flights to select destinations.
The Abu Dhabi-based carrier announced it will increase flights by three each to Thiruvananthapuram (7 to 10 weekly), Amman (11 to 14), Cairo (21 to 24), Karachi (14 to 17), and Colombo (17 to 20).
Previously, Etihad announced it will launch flights to Antalya and Jaipur. Both routes will be launched on June 15 and 16.
The latest expansion will contribute to an overall 33% increase in Etihad's total weekly flights – growing from 642 in the summer of 2023 to 855 in 2024. Etihad's network will increase from 65 to 76 destinations.
