In a notice on its website, Firefly's flights between Penang and Bangkok will arrive and depart Suvarnabhumi Airport from May 1. According to aeroroutes, the airline will operate daily flights between Penang and Suvarnabhumi using Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 189 seats.
First launched in November 2023, Firefly's flights at Bangkok departs and arrive at Don Mueang Airport.
Firefly will join THAI Airways on the Penang-Suvarnabhumi route. Thai AirAsia and Thai Lion Air will continue to offer flights from Penang to Don Mueang Airport.
