HK Express will launching a new connection to Japan with the addition of Sendai to its network.
The Hong Kong-based budget carrier announced its new route between Hong Kong and Sendai will start on January 17, 2025. HK Express will operate four weekly flights between the two cities every Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday using Airbus A3221neo aircraft.
With the new route, HK Express will be the lone carrier operating flights from Hong Kong to Sendai. Sendai will the airline's 10th destination in Japan, where it currently operates flights to Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo (Narita and Haneda), Hiroshima, Takamatsu, Kagoshima, and Okinawa.
