In response to the growing demand for travel between India and the Middle East, IndiGo will start a second daily flight on the Mumbai-Jeddah route from August 15. The added flights will double the total number of flights offered on the route to 14 weekly.
According to the Gurugram, India-based carrier, the new flights will offer morning departures from Mumbai and Jeddah.
“These flights will not only enhance trade and tourism opportunities between India and the Middle East but also provide customers with even more options to travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” said Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo.
Combined, IndiGo will ofer 42 weekly flights to Jeddah from 5 cities in India.
