Indian budget carrier IndiGo is expanding its network from Chennai with the resumption of flights to Bangkok and a new direct route to Durgapur.
From May 15, IndiGo will operate four weekly flights between Chennai and Bangkok. Departures will be operated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
Combined, the airline will offer 69 weekly flights to Thailand from 7 cities in India.
Separately, IndiGo also announced it will launch a new direct flight between Chennai and Durgapur the following day (May 16). The airline will offer three weekly flights on the route.
With the addition of Chennai, IndiGo operates 28 weekly flights from Durgapur to four Indian cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
