As part of an expansion of its intercontinental network, KLM will return to Hyderabad next year after an absence of over a decade.
From September 2, 2025, KLM will operate three weekly flights between Amsterdam and Hyderabad (Sunday, Tuesday, Friday). The airline will use Boeing 777-200ER aircraft on the route with 288 seats in a three-class configuration – 35 World Business, 24 Premium Comfort, and 229 in Economy.
Hyderabad is one of three new route additions announced by KLM that will also start in 2025. The airline will launch three weekly flights to San Diego from May 8, 2025; and two weekly flights to Georgetown, Guyana from June 4, 2025.
“With these new routes, KLM continues to strengthen its presence in the world, offering its customers more travel options and tapping into a growing and dynamic market,” the airline said in a statement.
The route to Hyderabad will be KLM's fourth to India, where it currently operates flights to Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. KLM previously served the route until February 2009.
KLM's move to launch its Amsterdam-Hyderabad service is the second within the week, following Cathay Pacific's announcement to launch flights to the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Telangana.
