Korean Air to increase flights to China, Mongolia, and Japan

Korean Air will be resuming and adding services to China and Mongolia, and add more flights to Japan during the summer and through the fall.


To meet rising demand, the Seoul-based carrier announced it will resume flights on the Busan-Shanghai Pudong and Jeju-Beijing routes with daily flights from July 1. The airline will also resume the following routes to China – Incheon-Hefei (x5 weekly from August 19), Busan-Beijing (x6 weekly from September 16), and Incheon-Kunming (x4 weekly from October 15). 


Among the routes to/from China that will see service increases include Incheon-Yanji (x4 to daily from June 1), Incheon-Dalian (x4 to x11 weekly between July 1 and September 15), and Incheon-Tianjin (x2 daily between August 5-October 20). 


On the Incheon-Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia route, the airilne will operate eight weekly flights from June 1 to September 30. 


Between South Korea and Japan, Korean Air will resume its flights on the Jeju-Tokyo Narita route with three weekly flights between July 19 and October 25. The airline will increase flights on the Incheon-Okayama route (x3 to x5 weekly from August 3) and Incheon-Kagoshima (x3 to x5 weekly from September 2).
