Malaysia Airlines adds more A330neo routes - Auckland and Denpasar (Bali)

As Malaysia Airlines welcomed its second Airbus A330-900neo (A330neo), the Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-based airline will increase its flights using the A330neo to Melbourne and introduce the widebody jets on flights to Auckland and Denpasar (Bali).


In a post on LinkedIn, Malaysia Airlines announced it will deploy its A330neo aircraft on daily flights to Melbourne from March 18.


The airline will then introduce its A330neo on flights to Auckland (four-times weekly) from March 13, and Denpasar (three-times weekly) from March 16.


Malaysia Airlines' new A330neo features 297 seats in a two-class configuration – 28 Business and 269 Economy. Inflight connectivity and real-time flight tracking will be provided to all passengers.


According to Malaysia Airlines' parent company Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), the airline expects to take delivery of a total of 20 A330neos by 2028.
