Coinciding with the MATTA Fair 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian flag carrier announced that it will return to Paris with four weekly flights starting March 22, 2025 Using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, the airline will increase the flights to daily on March 29, 2025 onwards.
According to Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), the Kuala Lumpur-Paris service marks a “long-awaited” return of Malaysia Airlines to the French capital.
“The European market is highly competitive, but we see immense potential for this destination,” said MAG Group Managing Director Izham Ismail.
Malaysia Airlines previously operated flights to Paris along with other European destinations until early 2016 as the airline underwent a restructuring and phased out its Boeing 777s. Since the restructuring, London remains the airline's lone European destination.
