Norse Atlantic Airways is expanding its flights to Bangkok this winter season, which will include the introduction of a new route to the Thai capital city from London.
The long-haul budget airline will launch its new route between London Gatwick – its largest hub in the United Kingdom (UK) – and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport on October 26. Norse Atlantic will operate four weekly flights on the route.
“We're excited to launch direct flights between London Gatwick and Bangkok, a top choice among our travelers. This addition not only strengthens our existing network between Asia but also builds on our routes from London Gatwick to destinations across the Atlantic and South Africa. For us it's all about offering more travel options at great prices without compromising on comfort and service for those looking to enjoy a beautiful and warm winter sunshine destination,” said Bjørn Tore Larsen, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Norse Atlantic Airways.
In addition to the new Gatwick-Suvarnabhhumi route, Norse Atlantic will increase its flights between Oslo and Suvarnabhumi from two to four times weekly from December 3. Flights between Stockholm and Suvarnabhumi will be increased from two to four times weekly on December 5.
Norse Atlantic will be the second airline – and the lone budget airline – to operate flights between Gatwick and Suvarnabhumi. THAI Airways and EVA Air operates flights to/from London Heathrow.
