Oman Air will increase its flights to London, with the airline announcing it will operate two daily flights to the city by next summer.

In response to popular demand and consistent route performance, the Muscat, Oman-based airline announced it will launch a second flight – which will initially operate four-times weekly (Sunday, Monday, Friday, and Saturday) – between Muscat and London Heathrow Airport. Using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, the additional flights will then be increased to daily by the summer of 2026.

London has always been a cornerstone of our international network, and the UK represents one of our largest inbound tourism markets, so this enhancement not only strengthens our presence on this key route but also supports Oman’s wider tourism ambitions,” said Con Korfiatis, Chief Executive Officer, Oman Air. “As we continue to grow, and particularly as we prepare to join oneworld, we remain focused on unlocking market potential, while consistently delivering an exceptional travel experience.”

Oman Air's currently daily service to London Heathrow – which operates as WY101 - departs Muscat at 1415H and arrives at Heathrow at around 1710H. The return flight (WY102) departs Heathrow at 2050H and arrives back at Muscat the following morning (0700H).

The newly added outbound flight will depart Muscat at 0140H and arrive at Heathrow at 0555H, while the return flight will depart at 0825H and arrive in Muscat at 1935H.

According to Oman Air, the enhanced schedule with the two daily flights will offer customers increased opportunities for same-day connections to the US and other long-haul destinations at Heathrow operated by its oneworld Alliance partner carriers.
