Peach Aviation will launch its first route between Japan and Singapore with a new route from Osaka.
Starting December 4, Peach Aviation – the Japanese budget carrier subsidiary of All Nippon Airways (ANA) – will launch daily direct flights between Osaka Kansai and Singapore Changi Airport.
According to Peach Aviation, the outbound flight (MM773) will depart Kansai Airport for Singapore at 1850H and arrive the following morning at 0100H. The return flight (MM774) will depart Singapore at 0215H and arrive back at Kansai at 0935H.
The budget carrier will use its Airbus A321LR aircraft with 218 seats featuring a maximum seat pitch of up to 32 inches (81cm), and USB charging ports.
With an estimated flight time of six hours and 30 minutes each way, the new Kansai-Singapore route will be the airline's second medium-haul international route after Kansai-Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi). The route – with a distance of around 4,950 kilometers – will be the airline's longest and made possible with the longer range of the A321LR compared to its A320 aircraft.
“We are very pleased to launch the Osaka - Singapore route, our second medium-haul international route and the first for a Japanese airline in 14 years,” said Peach Aviation Representative Director and CEO Kazunari Ohashi.
Peach Aviation will add to the Kansai-Singapore route, which is currently served by Singapore Airlines and its budget subsidiary Scoot.
