In an advisory, the Manila-based carrier stated that it will introduce SMS (mobile phone) notifications to update passengers about important updates for their flight during the third quarter of the year.
With the airline's official sender ID “PAL_Advisory,” the notifications will cover flight schedule updates and other important announcements.
Ahead of the service rollout, customers are advised to update their contact details on their existing bookings, or provide their mobile numbers when booking flights to receive the text messages.
