The Philippine flag carrier announce it will launch non-stop flights between Manila and Da Nang from July 1. Using Airbus A321 aircraft with 199 seats, Philippine Airlines will operate three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday).
According to Philippine Airlines, the flight schedule for its new Manila-Da Nang service will offer convenient late morning and early afternoon departure times.
“We at Philippine Airlines are excited to strengthen our close relationship with the Vietnamese people with the introduction of direct Manila-Da Nang flights,” said Stanley Ng, President and Chief Operating Officer, Philippine Airlines.
Philippine-based budget airline Cebu Pacific is the other airline operating flights between Manila and Da Nang.
Between the Philippines and Vietnam, Philippine Airlines will offer flights on four routes. From Manila, Philippine Airlines currently operates flights to both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, the airline will launch a new route between the central Philippine city of Cebu to Ho Chi Minh City on May 2.
