Qatar Airways to increase flights to London, Male, Miami, and Tokyo

Ahead of the winter 2024-2025 season, Qatar Airways has announced it will increase flights to four destinations – London, Male, Miami, and Tokyo.


The Doha-based airline announced announced an eight daily flight will be added to London Heathrow starting October 27 as a response to strong demand from customers. With the new daily service, Qatar Airways' weekly flights to Heathrow will increase from 49 to 56 weekly offering 42,000 seats per week each way.


Combined with its joint business partner British Airways' two daily flights, both the UK-based airline and Qatar Airways will offer 10 daily flights between Doha and Heathrow.


“Qatar Airways’ is also strengthening its commitment to the UK,” said Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer, Qatar Airways. “Growing to 56 flights a week – the most of any Gulf carrier – further reinforces our long-standing relationship with London Heathrow Airport, as well as our unique strategic alliance with British Airways, which also operates two flights a day to Doha.”

Added Flights to Male, Miami 


In December, Qatar Airways will add more flights to Male, Maldives and Miami. 


From December 13, Qatar Airways will increase its flights from Doha to Male from 21 to 28 weekly. 


Qatar Airways will then add two more weekly flights to Miami starting December 16. Operating every Monday and Wednesday, the extra flights will bring the number of the airline's weekly flights on the route from 10 to 12. 


More Flights to Tokyo in 2025 


From February 14, Qatar Airways will increase its flights to Tokyo Narita with four more flights. The outbound flights will depart every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, while the return flights will depart Narita the following day.


The additional flights will bring the number of weekly flights to Narita from seven to 11.
