SAS will expand its intercontinental network with its first direct flights between Scandinavia and South Korea next year.
From September 12, 2025, SAS will launch the new route – connecting Copenhagen and Seoul Incheon Airport – with four weekly flights before shifting to thrice-weekly from October 26.
According to SAS, the route will be operated with its Airbus A350 aircraft. The flight departures will be scheduled in the evening to optimize connectivity within Europe and maximizing travelers' time at their destination.
“This new route highlights our commitment to meeting customer demand and enhancing connectivity between two dynamic regions. Seoul, renowned as a global center of culture, innovation, and business, is a strategic addition to our growing network. As a proud SkyTeam member, this route further strengthens the seamless connectivity we provide, linking Scandinavia to key destinations across the globe. We are excited to welcome passengers on board this landmark service”, says Anko van der Werff, President & CEO, SAS.
The new route from Copenhagen will bring SAS's intercontinental connections from the Danish capital city to 14.
