Announced on October 4, the Taipei, Taiwan-based carrier announced the new codeshare partnership which would enable customers to book connecting travel between Asia and select cities in the US on a single ticket.
The codeshare partnership will initially cover eight domestic routes to/from Seattle operated by Alaska Airlines – Salt Lake City, San Diego, Phoenix, Portland, Las Vegas, Dallas, Denver, and Austin. Customers can book the flights with the connection on to STARLUX's Seattle-Taipei service.

STARLUX will continue to forge strategic partnerships with airlines to further expand our passenger networks, fostering mutual growth and success for all involved.”

STARLUX currently operates flights to 31 destinations, including three in the US – Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. The airline recently launched flights to Seattle on August 16.
According to STARLUX, the airline plans to increase flights to Los Angeles from daily to 10-times weekly from December 22. The Seattle-Taipei service will be increased from three-times weekly to daily from March 1, 2025.
