STARLUX will add to its services to Phu Quoc, Vietnam with a new route from Taichung in central Taiwan.
From October 27, the Taiwan-based airline will launch the new route from Taichung to Phu Quoc with daily fights. According to aeroroutes, STARLUX will use Airbus A321neo aircraft on the route.
The new service from Taichung will be the second route launched to Phu Quoc by STARLUX. The airline previously launched its first route to Phu Quoc from Taipei Taoyuan Airport in July.
STARLUX will be the second airline to offer flights between Taichung and Phu Quoc. Vietjet currently operates three weekly flights on the route.
Phu Quoc will the third destination STARLUX will offer flights from Taichung – the airlne's second hub in Taiwan. Since the launch of its Taichung hub earlier this year, STARLUX operates flights from the central Taiwanese city to Da Nang and Macau.
