Saudi Arabia-baesd budget carrier flynas has announced a new order for 90 Airbus aircraft.


During the Farnborough Airshow 2024, flynas announced it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the European aircraft manufacturer for the 90 aircraft – 75 A320neo family aircraft and 15 widebody A330-900s.


The new order will add onto flynas' current fleet of A320 aircraft – including over 50 A320neos which were first introduced to the airline in 2018. flynas first ordered 120 of the narrowbody aircraft in 2017. The airline will also introduce the A330-900 to its fleet with a capacity of up to 400 passengers in a two-class configuration.

Currently operating a fleet of over 60 all-Airbus aircraft, flynas has ambitions to increase its fleet to around 250 aircraft.
