Saudia Arabia's national flag carrier Saudia will install newly designed seats on its upcoming Boeing 787 fleet, and retrofit the cabins of its widebody Airbus A330 and Boeing 777s jets.
Saudia Arabia's national flag carrier Saudia will install newly designed seats on its upcoming Boeing 787 fleet, and retrofit the cabins of its widebody Airbus A330 and Boeing 777s jets.
In a release, Saudia announced it signed a contract with Collins Aerospace for the installation of newly designed seats on its upcoming Boeing 787 flet scheduled for delivery from early 2026. The airline will also start a comprehensive seat retrofit program aimed to enhance both functionality and aesthetics on its current Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft from late 2025 through late 2027.
According to Saudia, the airline's Business Class cabins across its widebody aircraft will consist of private suites.
"We are thrilled to join forces with Collins Aerospace to introduce state-of-the-art Business and Economy Class seats into our new fleet, as well as retrofit our existing fleet's interiors," commented Rossen Dimitrov, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Saudia.
