Singapore Airlines has announced it will start a new SGD $1.1 billion (~USD $835 million) cabin retrofit program to install its new long-haul cabin products across its fleet of 41 Airbus A350-900 long-haul and ultra-long -range (ULR) aircraft.

The Singapore flag carrier stated the new cabin retrofit program will be done by SIA Engineering Company in Singapore. Following the retrofit, each of the airline's A350s will feature First and Business Class products designed from the ground up that will also be on its upcoming Boeing 777-9 aircraft. Singapore Airlines will also introduce the next version of its KrisWorld in-flight entertainment (IFE) system across all classes.
As part of the retrofit program, a “luxurious” First Class cabin will be introduced in its seven A350-900ULR aircraft which operates on the world's longest routes. The aircraft will also feature the airline's upcoming Business Class seats, which according to the airline will feature innovative designs that will offer even greater levels of privacy, comfort, and convenience across its A350 fleet. Both premium cabins will feature new in-flight entertainment screens.
Premium Economy and Economy Class cabins will also be refurbished to enhance the passenger experience.
While more details will be revealed ahead of the entry of the first 777-9 and retrofitted A350s, Singapore Airlines added the first retrofitted A350-900 is expected to enter service during the second quarter of 2026, while the first retrofitted A350-900ULR will follow in the first quarter of 2027. The airline expects to complete the retrofit program by 2030.

Once completed, the 34 A350-900 long-haul aircraft will have 258 seats – configured with 42 Business, 24 Premium Economy, and 192 Economy Class seats. The seven A350-900ULRs will feature 132 seats – 4 First Class, 70 Business, and 58 Premium Economy.
