Starlux has announced it will expand its network to Indonesia with a new route to Jakarta.
From September 1, the Taiwan-based carrier will launch its new new route connecting Taipei-Taoyuan and Jakarta with five weekly flights (Sunday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday).
The outbound flight (JX761) will depart from Taipei in the morning and arrive in the early afternoon. The return flight (JX762) will depart Jakarta in the afternoon and arrive in the evening.
According to aeroroutes, Starlux will use its Airbus A321neo aircraft on the route.
Between Taipei and Jakarta, Taiwan-based EVA Air and China Airlines currently operates flights on the route.
With the addition of Jakarta, Starlux's network will cover 28 destinations. The addition of Jakarta follows the announcement of new flights by Starlux to Hong Kong starting July 16.
