THAI Airways will resume direct flights to Brussels, Belgium, before year's end.
From December 1, the Thailand-based Star Alliance carrier will operate daily flights between Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi and Brussels. Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft featuring Royal Silk Class and Economy Class seats will be used on the route.
THAI will resume services on the route following a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
‘It is great news to welcome Thai Airways back to Brussels Airport. This daily direct connection to Bangkok strengthens our position as a European hub and offers our passengers even more travel options to Asia. For Thai passengers too, our airport offers an ideal gateway to the rest of Europe. We look forward to a great collaboration," said Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport.
Brussels will be THAI's 11th destination in Europe. The airline currently operates flights to Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London-Heathrow, Munich, Paris, Stockholm, and Zurich. The airline will add services to Milan and Zurich from July 1.
