As part of efforts to continue expanding its global network, United will launch the new year-round service from Tokyo-Narita to Mactan-Cebu International Airport on July 31 using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
According to United, the Narita-Cebu flights will offer convenient connections from United's flights from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, New York-Newark, and Houston to Narita.
Bookings are open for the flights operating as UA32/UA33. The outbound flight (UA32) will depart from Narita at at 1725H and arrive in Cebu at 2125H. The return flight (UA33) will depart Cebu the following morning at 0915H and arrive at Narita at 1520H.
The Chicago-based carrier currently offers daily flights between San Francisco and Manila, and additional services from Guam and Koror, Palau to the Philippine capital.

Additional Flights to China, Hong Kong, and South Korea
Following an agreement to increase flights between the US and China, United will operate four weekly flights between Los Angeles and Shanghai using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft from August 29. The airline will then increase the flights to daily in late October.
United will also add more flights to Hong Kong and Seoul. A second daily flight between Los Angeles and Hong Kong using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft will start on October 26. The airline will also offer year-round twice daily flights between San Francisco and Seoul from October 25.
Along with the announcement of the new Narita-Cebu route, United also announced new routes between New York-Newark and Marrakesh, Morocco (starting October 24), and Houston and Medellin, Colombia (starting October 27). The airline previously announced new flights between Tokyo-Haneda and Guam starting in May.
