Vietjet to launch new flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Nagoya, Fukuoka

Vietjet will increase its flights to Japan with new flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Nagoya and Fukuoka.


From April 24, the Vietnam-based budget airline will launch its new four-times weekly service (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) between Ho Chi Minh City and Nagoya. The following day (April 25), the airline will then launch a three-times weekly service (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) between Ho Chi Minh City and Fukuoka.


The new routes will add to Vietjet's current flights from to two cities from Hanoi. Vietjet operates daily flights on the Hanoi-Nagoya route, and three weekly flights on the Hanoi-Fukuoka route.


Between Japan and Vietnam, Vietjet will operate a total of 138 flights weekly with the two new routes. The airline operates flights to six destinations in five cities within Japan – Tokyo (Haneda/Narita), Osaka (Kansai), Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Hiroshima.
