To meet the increase in travel demand during the summer, Vietnam Airlines will deploy its widebody Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on its flights between Hanoi and Singapore.

Between June and July, the Vietnamese flag carrier will operate seven flights per week on the Hanoi-Singapore route with the 787s, replacing the Airbus A321 currently used on the route.

With the use of the Boeing 787 aircraft, Vietnam Airlines aims to increase the number of passengers on each flight by more than 50% compared to narrow-body aircraft. The Boeing 787 aircraft has a capacity of up to 300 passengers, including more than 20 fully-lie flat seats in Business Class.
